On the western edge of Europe where the land meets the sea, and the winds carry the warmth sense of Africa, it is here in my Portugal that my soul found it’s mate: The Sea. The beauty of the sea never ceases to amaze me. I am awed and humbled whenever I stand in its presence. I create my images by its sheer beauty, sensuality and above all, the inexplicable call to my soul. My primary image subjects-The Ocean and it’s surroundings reflect the fundamental aspects of my nature. The sea who’s diversity is it’s greatest treasure. The sea needs to be deeply experienced to be understood. Artist’s thru out time have made the oceans take our breath away. The oceans have carried kings and Emperors and the march of time, in fairy tales it has made us dream, surrounded by enchanted forests and magical cities. Where even those already in love develop new Passions. Seas that have remained untouched and time appears to have stopped, but I must add that the grandeur of the oceans caressed by the sun is rivaled only by the majesty of the Blue Skies. Take a deep breath and dive into an unforgettable experience, embark on an exciting journey with me of rich tonalities and exquisite forms and even when you think you have seen everything the oceans will tell you there is much more to offer, the possibility of doing nothing, just relax and enjoy its majesty.
